They were pretty good dryers, but on the small capacity side. The blower operates by a belt and pulley and could be a source of problems.

Does anyone have a vintage matching Speed Queen washer and dryer? I don't think I have ever seen a vintage matching Speed Queen washer and dryer together.

Not anymore, but I have had several in the past. I got my folks to buy a TOL speed queen washer and dryer a year before they quit making the solid tub machines. It was a handsome looking set that the consoles lit up on. It was the larger capacity solid tub and the new style dryers they used through the 80's. Worst damn washer they ever had! It required constant service until they moved a couple of years later and bought a new Maytag set.

When SQ first started making their dryers,  all of that inner door and lint screen were metal. Consumer Reports said that the hot humid air condensed on the relatively colder metal and dripped on the floor.
