Got the Atlantis moved in and I am quite impressed.
Very fast in drying and has a nice throaty rumble to it. I have always liked the way the dryers didn't have a handle. Three things that suprised me. #1 There is no bell or signal to tell you when the dryer has shut off or cooling down. That does not bother me. #2 There is no light in the drum. Maybe there is and it is burned out and I don't know where it is? #3 The dryer spins clockwise. I am positive the Kenmore spun counter clockwise. Interesting machine to have. The Kenmore got kicked to the curb. |

those are a Neptune clones.....really nice machines.....good choice
these are Maytag units through and through, yet matched to a Norge designed washer...and yet the Maytag Drying Center is of the Norge design... I would have thought a 'chime' would have been built in, but maybe because of a less featured unit, not included as well as the light......if there was a light, it would be just inside the door shroud, on the upper right hand side, a simple 7 watt night light fits.... for loads like towel, High heat is fine.... you may find better, less wrinkled results, or closer to the Kenmore's soft heat, by using LOW for most other loads...pants, shirt, sheets, etc.... |

Found the place where the light should be. Has a little hatch over it. Is it very hard to install a light?
