A few weeks ago I posted about my trading my Duet washer for a Bosch Axxis pair. Well, I've had them for about a week now and I have to say I love them! The washer is just terrific, not that my Whirlpool Duet was bad in any way I just love the little Bosch. Basically I traded Kim because my Whirlpool washer was way to big for both my apartment and me. I do about 3 loads of laundry a week and I just didn't need such a big machine. Also it didn't help my apartment's laundry room(if you can call it a room it is more like a closet) just couldn't hold the Duet and my old Maytag dryer. I had to walk in like a crap in order to enter the room and could barly open the door to the washer or dryer. The dryer was dying and Kim offered me this new Bosch pair he had gotten from a friend who had gotten it from a lady who had used it like twice. Needless to say they are like new and I love them. The washer has power boost which works much faster then my Duet's Sanitary cycle which took close to two hours. Its a little louder then the Duet but I don't mind. The dryer is so much better then my old maytag. It dries cloths very well and doesn't over dry anything. The drum is stainless steel and the whole machine is a very well made. My only disappointment is not being able to use bleach in the washer. I'm getting used to using a non chlorine bleach but other then that I'm ok with everything else. I will have to see how they hold up but as of right now I couldn't be happier!
