A couple of months ago I asked for help with my Norge Wringer washer.  I could not remove the agitator.  Found a used appliance dealer who (rented) me his Agi-Tamer.  The agitator was removed no problem (I guess it was worth the $30).  Removed an old sock, a penny, and Lord only knows the amount of calcified lint detergent and who knows what else.  In the process of removing all this I discovered a small hole in the drive shaft.  This was repaired and agitator put back.  The pictures that follow show an unusual two piece agitator  design(at least it was new to me) the filter pan that fits on top of the agitator.  There is a video that follows show the washer in service.  Not the best gal on the block but I am proud of her.

I'm waiting on the video!
It looks like you did a darn good job on that old girl. Congratulations.

Thank you akronman for your kind words.  It was my first attempt at taking apart anything much less a washing machine and not having a widget leftover.

Oh yes, and as soon as I figure out how to down load a video it will be forthcoming.

Great job on getting that agitator back in service! And gotta love the agitator cap -- and a wringer with a burp-a-lator lint filter no less. Very cool and thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the video!
