Yes, these get good reviews. In contrary to other compact dishwashers these are built in Spain.

Here is that model on the German Mediamarkt website. www.mediamarkt.de/de/product/_bos...
You can use Google Translate if you want to read them in English.

That’s pretty much the only one I would buy

This is a strange situation. It is being offered on eBay by a company based in Cyprus. As expected, it runs on 220V at 50 or 60 cycles and I could accommodate that, although I know noting about the water connections, but it is not made for our market so I don't know if I could even get an outlet that would allow me to connect it. Maybe this is one of those situations Launderess explained that it is being marketed to a buyer who would have a reason to buy it here and take it overseas. I thought it would be a nice toy, but I don't even know if I could get service or parts for it here.  "Save your money, Tom."

I agree, it's not a good sign either that they have a long list of countries that they don't ship to.

Thank you Louis and Mr. Alex for taking a fling through Fantasy Land with me, but it is a cute toy.

You're welcome Tom!

Actually, as I was unloading one of my dishwashers last night, I figured that my buying that for the gallon pitchers, 3 quart bowls, etc. that I wash made as much sense as buying a Miele domestic washer instead of a Milnor when you were doing laundry for an orphanage.

I agree, I'm single but wouldn't like using a dishwasher that is smaller than a normal one. It just doesn't work for the bigger stuff.

It sure looks like the Sunpen unit I bought for the cabin but was only $200.00 bucks.

No, the Sunpen is different, it has the controls on the door, not under the door. The Sunpen is just a variation of the Asian made models.

After moving, my new kitchen no longer provides space for a 24" model - so I put my 1993 Bosch back into service. It's a great little machine.

Thanks for sharing. I really like the trim on your dishes. Is your machine permanently connected to plumbing or does it use a faucet adapter?

It's permanently attached. I don't even know if portable dishwashers / faucet adapters exist here - I have certainly never seen one.

Quite a smart set up! It wouldn't fit in my cabinets. I guess it helps with noise reduction too?

Those plates look like some Arzberg design, right?

Thank you both.
