They could have at least installed that turquoise panel.

That "retro" cooktop is one of the only GE cooktops that I've ever seen in what looks like stainless steel. Most of these SS-looking tops were actually brushed chrome. It's a completely different look.

That cooktop is also newer than the set. Looks like they replaced it at some point. The original would have been controlled by the push buttons, on the backsplash, behind it.

Wow...its next door to me!

This is a very nice time machine kitchen. And it's right next door to me! Too bad it's newer than what I collect. Now the 37 Westinghouse kitchen that I saw...oh boy.

Who in their right mind would rip out this kitchen?! Change the wallpaper border and call it a day. Sheesh.

Agreed Cory !!!

I think that kitchen is beautiful. I would install your Princess Roll out to complete it.

What a shame this is getting ripped out.

Given how nice that looks can you imagine what the rest of the house looks like.  Did you notice the intercom on the wall?

Radarange Alert!

cadman's profile picture
If you look carefully in pic 2, you'll spot a Radarange hiding in that indoor BBQ. If my eyes don't deceive me, I see a little square of orange above the Start/Stop/Light buttons, which indicates this is the very rare, high powered RR-1110 model.

Perhaps the owners would sell that Radarange separately. It's definitely worth grabbing.

To ruin that house I bet the rest is fantastic

Anyone that would rip out this kitchen is an IDIOT!!!!!!This is in immaculate condition.Even though the cooktop is newer-like how the original control panel was left in place-adds to the look.Just that- repaint the walls or repaper them-that's it!!!

The best part is the very rare turquoise 1970 Whirlpool Trashmasher Compactor.

I agree...

Just leave the damn kitchen alone.
