Beautiful set. I have not seen the dryer in operation, however, when I see one of the washers I think of Greg's. All lit-up like a beautiful juke-box.
There was a tremendous non-agitated overflow at the beginning of the rinse that must have put fifteen gallons over the side! I think this would become my preferred machine to use Clorox in! Most thorough rinser of any automatic I ever saw in operation.

If this doesn't rinse the clothes - nothing will! Absolutely the best overflow rinse I ever saw! And the final splashaway is so exciting and the best ever!

When I restored my 57 ABC-O-Matic, I thought I killed the timer when the machine did it's flow-over rinse.... was I ever happy when it started sloshing again!!

The most enjoyable and entertaining washers ever made. They washed, rinsed and spun out well too!

Just to look at these machines you can see the quality. Nothing made today has this style or kind of substance.

Quality and Style

You are so right. But then, as the discussion has flowed over our telephones from that period, and could also apply to our televisions, phonographs, lawnmowers, etc. Until we reach critical mass in our world where those to follow us are forced to keep possessions and forced to recycle virtually everything, the current trend will continue. How many people stood in long lines simply to get a newer edition of a silly plastic 'smart' phone? The day will come, if this world survives, when those from the future will be laughing at situations like this.
