Those last 3 letters on the front of it look like "-tor" when I magnify it. |

Give me some of whatever Gladys is having! That girl is having herself some fun - love the smile and the glasses. And, what is that mid-air that Stanley is about to catch?
I see abundant evidence of adult beverages. I'm betting that a large time was had by all, regardless of the brand of washing machine.

Wow Ralph, good eye! I didn't look at the photo close enough to see that cup. Your house never had those aluminum cups, but our house did! As I recall, I think there were three or four different colors, blue, purple, red and perhaps green? Yes moisture would condense on the outside of them if you had something very cold in them, but I guess I never thought much about it. |

Ike was in the White House. The budget was balanced. We made everything here. And everything was good. Even the cheapest appliances then were better than anything made today |

fun was being had, and they were so beautifully dressed too... I so clearly recall those days when it was the norm, but now we have become a nation of slobs. Even at a "nice" party nowadays you will typically see jeans, not suits & ties. Go out shopping and one sees people "dressed" in "public pajamas". We are sadly lacking in taste and class these days. Personally I would have loved the '30s.
