Saw it while browsing real estate listings. I *should* know what it is, but my mental file cabinet is FULL. Anyone??

Vertical Jet Tower Became Horizontal Jet Probe

POD as well as a POS in almost every category on which a dishwasher is rated.

You are lucky that your file cabinet is just too full. Mine has the drawers jammed and it sometimes takes several minutes of jiggling, banging on the sides etc. before access is granted and information can be retrieved.

From ads that I have seen, even a magazine pages-mounted brochure that I may still have: Youngstown!

And my mental file cabinet has become a JUNK DRAWER!

30" Dishwashers

Too bad really.  It looks like a very cool kitchen but if they want to replace that dishwasher I don't think there is another vintage in 30".  The only other option (I think) is the Dacor 30" but that's a more modern machine and I think those were also plagued with problems.

How would some of you handle this?  I'd want a vintage machine, and I'd want that kitchen.  Could those cabinets left of the dishwasher be moved a few inches to the right?

It looks like it's taped shut.  I had one of these and from what I recall the springs were not that great and the hinge along the bottom seemed a little flimsy for what was a heavy door.

Another mystery dishwasher...

Can anyone tell what kind of dishwasher this is?

I'm sure it's a portable and I'm thinking GE?

Any details like model, specifics, or what year?

Christina, it's definitely a GE Mobile Maid.  I'd say like 1967 with it appearing to be avocado.  The timer knob is reminiscent of those used on BOL models from 1964 to 1966 or 1967.   Like the knob on this dishwasher.

toploader55/Eddie & appnut/Bob.

I'm not very familiar with dishwashers, but I was thinking GE, portable, and maybe even a toploader since I don't see a front door panel.

GE Mobile maid with power shower. I think I seen one like this at a 2nd handstore here in tucson about a year ago or so.

Thank you again for your replies.
:o)
