Anyone else restore or rebuild antique door hardware? I find the solid brass mortise sets last for hundreds of years.

photo of my project today, after removing about 7 layers of paint and some sanding and polishing, just need to have a new key made for it now and reinstall it. I clear coated this set after cleaning to keep it shiny for awhile.

Not restored any, but did install a couple of the old skeleton key lock sets on our front door and side door of our last house. The doors were new solid wood doors that we got from Home Depot. They had an antique look to them. We had to do custom work to the door to get the lock set in.
