Hi Bjorn. The 18580 came first in 1979, with the 18680 following in 1982. There is only one visual difference between the 18580 and 18680 and its the colour of the fascia back panel - on the 18580 it is silver/grey ...

whilst on the 18680 it was changed to bronze ....

However there was possibly a second version of the 18680 - well, fascia stickers produced for it ....

Ah, it becomes clear now. Thank you for the information. I didn't realise there was several versions of it. Sounds like I have quite an early version winging its way towards me. Once it arrives I'll post some pictures of her before restoration starts. | ||

Whether a fully bronzed version of the 18680 was ever sold in the shops is unclear, but it would have looked smart. Paul | ||
