It doesn't get much nicer than this for a domestic set-up of commercial washer and dryer units.

Why would someone get rid of a setup like that?

They probably want to put some stupid mega capacity Samsung or lg bs there.

While those SQ washers are nice, they basically are what they are; a commercial washing machine designed for quick through-put, and to withstand heavy use/abuse.

Cycle choices are limited and there isn't any way to control times and so forth. In other words the washer isn't a Miele or even Duet.

When I worked in the laundromat here, we had machines in the back we setup so they could be controlled slightly. We modified the main wash timer so the timer motor could be stopped or controlled by a separate timer so you could choose your own cycle times. I'd imagine a setup like this for the home would be done in a similar fashion?

Another great Craigslist find. I imagine that would come down of the asking price too by the sound of the ad

Has your SQ front loader been properly repaired as of now? We haven't heard any updates from you. I hope they did right by you and got it working properly

They would be alright with me-DON'T want long cycle times! For 500 bucks may not be such a bad deal.Which "Richmond" is it?

Is *NOT* a lot of money for that set. Indeed just for the washer or dryer alone would be an excellent price.

Trouble sellers are going to have shifting that lot is they are not plug and play for residential setting/use. Unless one has the proper gas, drain, and electric connections, not to mention flooring strong enough to support, the things aren't worth bother.
