The pair look like a V-14 set!  The console layout is so similar to the ones on the V-12 set my folks had when I was a brat.

Beautful!

That CL pair may be identical to the set in avocado that I bought in college in 1977. The control panels look identical, only I remember the backsplash as being black. Mine was single speed but you could set the water amount and also hot/warm/cold all with cold rinse. I loved that set and it lasted me for 9 very happy years without a breakdown. I left them in that house when I sold it.

Thanks for posting it! Brings back good memories.

I just brought my low-end GE back from storage last weekend.  Mine is from about 1967-69, the washer in the first ad is probably a year or two later but doesn't match the dryer exactly.  The dryer pictured is from about 71-72 as it's the same dryer we had growing up.  GE changed their lower end model panels quite often through the 60's & 70's until the change-is-bad era of the mid-70's and beyond took hold.

I had a model similar to that once.....

although it had a straight vane blue agitator.....

and had a 'Short' cycle where the PermPress is on this one....

was not a big variation on water levels, maybe two inches between each one...

My goodness. That was the exact washer my folks got around 1968. Lasted until 1992.

Update

This same pair is listed on ebay for the same price, same photo.  So if you don't "do" Craigslist, maybe you "do" ebay?
