Me, nothing more than the satisfaction, that I got loading all THIS in, even more than whether or not anything really IS this sparking clean, or if I find any food particles on anything anywhere, which for all I know, this great machine will have to do over...

I actually made this a third run in a row, we had about as THIS much to wash just ONE day ago, after which I used a bottle of dishwasher cleaner, so this is what I am just taking out, the washer just did last night:

(And this is only just the BEGINNING of the Holiday Season!)

Ok Lucy, you got some splainin to do! What is that you are asking? I would have to say I like to load a dishwasher with dirty items and have them emerge spotless so i dont have to rewash the load. The pic above by the way is well packed...

I much prefer the loading aspect than the unloading. So that's pretty much how it happens around here.. I load, or redistribute what he's put in incorrectly, and he unloads it most of the time.

Yes, that's what I was trying to point out: getting the stuff to fit in what used to or what would otherwise be a very tiny machine and having a cycle that removes every food particle--that's what I appreciate about my machine & enough that if we move, I better be able to remove it & take it along, if not have something that is just as good and works just as well as this one does!

What are you dissatisfied about, I do not understand.

See nothing with the picture. How clean are the results I cannot see? The dutch oven, and slow cooker pot? Please explain, like others have requested.

--Well,sorry formal the confusion that I've created...

I was just trying to express that I like loading & getting the new (dirty) load ready to be washed, better than the chore of unloading... (In which case, I sometimes let enough to almost make another load sit around sometimes, or that's how quickly we dirty up more things...)

I'd just love to have a dishwasher...

Sigh...

It's hard to say which is better--loading or unloading. I did enjoy the occaisional puzzle of loading (how to fit in an awkard item, or how to pack as much in as possible). But dirty dishes can be icky...particularly if they aren't fresh. On the other hand, unloading can be a tiresome, dull job. But at least the machine does the real drudgery. I may have mentioned this, but I wish I had a dishwasher. (LOL)

Perhaps the best arrangement is to have two dishwashers. Dishwasher A is used to wash a load of dishes. Then, those dishes are left in it. One gets dishes out as needed. After use, those dishes are put into Dishwasher B. When Dishwasher B is full, the roles are flipped. Dishwasher B is run to clean the dishes, and become the new clean dish holder. And Dishwasher A becomes the new holding spot and eventual dishwasher for dirty dishes.

I personally love arranging and rearranging all the dirty dishes. It's like Tetris for adults.

For Me,

since I live alone, often I don't unload the d/w at all. I'll use the dishes out if there aren't many and they go right back in.

Anyone else on here just hate unloading groceries at home? I quit buying soft drinks decades ago, partially because I don't like the flavor or expense, but also because I hate unloading the damn things at home. I hate buying too many canned goods for the same reason.

My local H-E-B just had a spot sale on their brand of canned tuna in water, and it's excellent. They had it for 25 cents per can. My 22-year-old kitty loves tuna in water so I bought 96 cans. One of the cases is still in the trunk of the Toyota 'cause I just hate unloading. The other thing I hate unloading is kitty litter, I usually get Fresh Step.

Come to think of it, the only thing I really like unloading is fresh food...

Odd one out: I enjoy unloading the clean dishes--probably because I didn't have to wash them by hand.

Unloading groceries: Now that the car isn't conveniently located in a tuck-under, heated/air-conditioned garage, I buy only what I can carry in one trip from the car whenever possible. When people ask what I miss about the house, I always say, "The garage!"

I love loading the dishwasher, comma

I hate unloading the dishwasher and putting the dishes away. PERIOD.

But, it has to be done and Darryl still didn't teach Blacky, Jack and Maytag (the cats) how to unload the dishwasher. Maybe he will after he finishes teaching the intensive course "How to scoop your own litter box 101" and the extension module "how to run and slide on the floor to polish it with your own fur."

I'm not wild about loading the dishwasher.....but I HATE unloading it and putting the dishes away.

The ONLY part about owning a dishwasher that puts a spring in my step and a smile on my face is knowing that I don't have to scrub, rinse, or dry another skanky nasty plate again. I do have some mugs, glasses, and baking pans that are handwash only, but I can live with that since the Potscrubber does the brunt of it and does it far better than I ever could!

Hard to believe this was nearly a mere YEAR ago!

daveamkrayoguy's profile picture
Well, is yours up to THIS kind of challenge?

Yes, THIS is the load going in--overloaded, I just didn't get too close to:

And the next pic shows it coming out, of which, let's say, nothing had to be redone...

What's best??

ultralux88's profile picture
A, big, dirty load going in, and then seeing how sparkling and spotlessly clean they come out! One of the absolute best dishwashers I've ever used is my Kitchenaid in my profile pic, followed very close by out late model Whirlpool PowerClean from 05. There's just something so satisfying knowing the thing can truly clean dishes. If you feel the need to rinse the dishes before, either you're absolutely nuts, or you have a crappy dishwasher!
