1987 vintage GE Filter-Flo pair in Almond. Electric dryer. WWA5600GALAD (MV1) & DDE5300GALAD (FV2). Excellent condition, they’ve spent their 30 years in a second floor 1BR condo. Still in weekly use, but I’m switching to a more modern pair.

Located in Northeast NJ, 10 minutes off I-78. One straight flight of outdoor stairs to negotiate.

Bring your truck & bring a friend and pick up a classic laundry pair.

Listing here exclusively for December. Will be listed locally in January.

What beautiful machines! I hope they find a wonderful home where they will continue to provide years of service. If only I had the room....

These Are The Same

as the 1977 avocado pair that I bought 40 years ago. I loved them and like others have said here, I'd love to have these if they were closer. I hope these beauties find a good home.

Off to their new home!

Yogitunes picked them up for Norgeway Sunday morning.

I'm happy that they will continue to be used!

what a wonderful couple to meet, Larry and his wife....

thankful to them for bearing with me, as I thought I had to postpone since the car crash into my house on Sat...

but wasn't bad, as it was only an hour delay into my arrival time....

Larry saved me a lot of time as they were disconnected and brought down a flight of stairs, waiting for me in the garage...I think I impressed Larry as I got both machines loaded into the Jeep, and the hatch closed...

funny how for some of us, laundry and machines, in any form, sort of comfort us in taking our mind off the daily stresses of life at times....

yeah, Hans is getting a very well cared for pair....

I assume you had to lay them down? Did you use your trick of swimming pool noodles on the washer to take up the space between the tubs?

of course Ken.....but have found out, that two of them, about 15 inches each, fit on both sides easily, and keeps everything secure.....no need to wrap around the whole tub...

these work extremely well, whether your laying them on the side, or upright, just to keep things secure...

those noodles have so many uses its unreal....

Now what can

We do for YOU, because you are in a mess for sure!?? Only a true friend would bother with old machines for me when his house had a big hole in the side!

Good deal. Guess I've been lucky. I've moved three FF's on their side without putting anything between the tubs to secure and didn't have the tub boot come loose. But I should have been safe and put something in there.

It was a pleasure meeting Martin, and his assistant (whose name, I did not get!).

Yes, a little concerned the two wouldn't fit in the Jeep, but Martin knows his business.

I think it's worked out well for all concerned!

Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Holidays to all!

you know me Hans, just another pretty face in the crowd...

these lower end machines may not have much on features, but they are tireless workhorses, nothing kills them....they run forever

my mother had a similar 1964 V-12.....with a ten person household, that thing would never die!...

Solid, sturdy choice for daily drivers.  While there are no bright lights and jingling bells, these have a minimalist elegance all their own.  Congrats Hans.

GE FilterFlo

I've always liked the sound of these machines, the transmission sounds like no other. When I was 7 or 8, one of my neighbors had a very late GE with rimflow instead of FF, and they would let me watch it in action and even bring my clothes over to wash at their house.
