Like the layout of the control panel. The washer tub looks to be on the small side. How did they do with large items like a blanket or quilt?

Oh, you can get a good sized quilt or blanket in there, a big, bulky comforter probably not.
I think those tubs can accommodate 12 lbs pretty easily. Mine gets 16 lb loads pretty often as the Three-Ring can easily roll it all over.

The Energy Ring on this one looks like it has seen a lot of use. These machines were pretty tough, though, so might not need a lot of work. For sure the inner tub has to come out so you can check out the inside of the outer tub and the Tub Support Mechanism.

That looks like the washer I grew up with. I’ve been looking for one for years and I now live within a reasonable driving distance from them, but I would never pay that much for the set. For that price I’m perfectly happy to stick with my vintage Maytags. I wish the seller luck with the sale though.

So call him up and make him an offer. The seller may have already discovered others wont pay that amount of money either! Just 'sayin.
I think the seller is the guy I got the Norge set from a few years ago. A very nice guy. Just eat your Wheaties. Had to haul them up a pretty steep and narrow set of stairs!
