Not too long ago there was a member here, who I believe is a collecter of mixers, who posted something mentioning a Dormeyer mixer. I currently have one and am looking to re-home it, or at least the bowls, beaters, and grinder attachmemt. The mixer was given to me. I have never powered it on due to cord fraying. The base is plastic and is cracked all the way across, right under the mixer portion. Someone glued it, but you can see where tilting the mixer back cause the crack to split the glue apart. I don't know anything about these mixers, I am a Hamilton Beach girl.
I am willing to give this away. I want nothing for it. I would rather it go to a collector or someone who enjoys small appliance repair or someone who just needs parts. I know the antiques are hard to replace and I just want to offer, in the hope that a member here will be able to use what I have.

If no one else has claimed this I am interested - this would be a parts donor for me!

Turquoisedude, you are the only person who has expressed interest. But I wonder what shipping to you in Canada will cost.. It is a very heavy mixer. Would you want the bowls and attachments as well?
I would be very happy if we can figure out a way to get this to you

Oh cool!!  I would actually pass on the bowls to save on shipping. I also keep a PO box in Vermont (the house in Ogden is very close to the border).  Please email me at the address in my profile and I can give you the address.  Thanks and Happy New Year !!
