Vintage advertisements of Refrigerators, Stoves, Ovens,  Dishwashers, Washing Machines, Clothes Dryers, Irons, Radios, Phonographs, Televisions, Fans, Air Conditioners, Vacuums, small electric kitchen appliances. So grab a snack out of the Cycla-matic, sit back and lets take a trip down memory lane. Special thanks to my husband (Catalanman).

Note:  As per A.W. guidelines, please do not repost any ads that appear in Picture of the Day (POD).

Please feel free to post any ads pertaining to this thread, just be sure the advertisements do not contain any identifiable watermarks or copyrights on the image from any persons or other websites.

Since some of you have wondered, the year I post with the advertisements is the year the ad was printed. Not necessarily the model year of the product.

Please note, some ads may no longer be available for viewing in the earlier parts of Vintage Appliance Advertisements. The image hosting site being used then erased the images over time. Sorry about that.

We had the same Zenith color tv and I thought I went to heaven as a kid. 2 aunts had that Bendix washer and both hated it. One aunt ran all the clothes thru her square Maytags wringer, the other complained enough and my uncle bought a new Kenmore washer and dryer, both in lovely coppertone.

For Reply #3, I wonder, considering how expensive these stereos were, how many symphony tickets could you buy for the price of that console? To actually go there would be more of a cultural experience.

I have a Zenith

With that tone arm, but in a ugly American cabinet, I WISH it was a modern cabinet, My cousin bought it new in 62, I got it when she passed away, it really is superior to others.
