www.magazine-advertisements.com/k... www.afcaforum.com/forum5/28708.h... www.fundinguniverse.com/company-h... NESCO was purchased by Knapp-Monarch, so when Hoover got the latter it was like a Two-Fer. madison-historical.siue.edu/ency... |

Nesco was bought by K-M in 1960 which was bought by Hoover in 1969. All of Hoovers small appliances were NOT made by K-M though. Rival made a number of their blenders and can openers and Presto made some of the percolators too. Of course we all know Blackstone made the Hoover full sized automatic washers and dryers. One question I have is who made Hoover's poprtable dryer? It sure looks like a Maytag Porta-Dryer to me, I mean it even has the lint screen in the rear of the drum just like the Porta-Dryer....PATRICK COFFEY
