I'm sure it would taste much better than the real thing.

Agreed Ken.... just tried your version of the “Tide Pod” and .... not bad. I still cannot fathom the ingestion of laundry detergent, regardless of how “pretty” or enticing they appear? Anyway, your suggested shot/cocktail wins hands down !

My God, the public relations squad at P&G must be dancing in the streets. You can't buy the kind of "gone viral" hype Tide Pods have experienced the past six weeks. Interested to find out if sales of the actual product has spiked relative to the attention in social and traditional media.

Well Frig, Bailey’s just does not remove stains as well as Grey Goose ?

However you are right, this trend is either a PR godsend or nightmare for Proctor and G.

I still cannot fathom anyone finding laundry detergent/pods as something ingestable? Regardless of the appearance.

Anyone of sound mind and over the age of five, should know better.

Now back to my legitimate cocktail.

I almost bought some Pods just for the hell of it until I looked at the price tag.

One came as a sample in a box of powder awhile back and I tried it only to find one Pod wasn't enough for a full load in the SQ. Would get pricy quick using more than one per wash.
