hello everyone hope you're all ok and well, just an update on my own hotpoint ultima extra washer

nearly 2 weeks ago on the 13th of january a new control board was ordered from ebay for £20 and it said it would come between 19th and 20th so on saturday the 20th my dad went to the post office to collect a parcel and in came a new control board with new buttons and new display lens

so on 21st i started taking the old control board out but some piece of plastic snapped off it so then i put superglue and let it dry for 24 hours and then 24 hours later i continued by putting a new control board and new buttons and display lens but the piece of plastic snapped off again but it was only small and wouldn't affect the machine pcb as it was to secure the control board
then after putting the new part in and machine back together i put the machine on a spin only programme to see what the difference was and the 1400 spin only programme now takes 17 minutes as opposed to 11 mins with the wma74 programming
it does distribute and then stop and then did 2 tumbles then went back to distribution and did a 250rpm burst then did 500-600-800 stage then slowed down then did 600-800-1000 then after that it did the final stage which was 1000-1400 for 10 secs, this is different than the old programming which did tumbling then 250rpm burst then tumbling then 400-500-600-800 stage then 1000-1400 stage and for the rinses the water levels (without adding water) were great

Janak
