Hi All!
My best friend's sister has a Maytag Jetclean dishwasher in excellent condition, but the power module (pump) is frozen solid. Because of the super effective filter in the module, I know that nothing got into the impeller to jam it. The pulley just won't budge. A service tech quoted her $380 for a new module, not including labor. She really does not want to part with the dishwasher. Any ideas where a power module can be gotten for a reasonable price? I'll put it in for her. What could have frozen it up?

A leaking seal let water into the bearing which made the module freeze, maybe.

Just an update. Thank you to our own coldspot66 for helping me locate a new power module for my friend's Maytag Jetclean dw. It is on it's way. I cannot thank all you wonderful folks who are always there to help. Each and every one of you is appreciated and valued. Yet again, I say a great big thank you.
