I cannot believe I am seeing what has been done to that poor machine. It's as blasphemous as a kegerator conversion on a nice vintage fridge.

It must be very embarrassed to be seen among it's peers.  And to add insult to injury I don't think that's the user guide for that machine.  That manual looks like one of the impeller versions doesn't it?

Yep, that's the manual for the 57-59 version of the GE impeller machines in pictures 7 and 8, but the one in picture 9 may be the right one.

What am I missing???

somebody please fill me in to what has been done to this dishwasher as I am not familiar with the GE mobile maid dishwashers.

I too couldn't see the Forrest through the trees HD. But then I noticed THE HANDLE and saw what all the fuss was about.

So the handle has been replaced, and obviously put in the wrong position. But other than the handle, does everything else seem to be original on this dishwasher?
