We're replacing a fridge in a rental property and looking for options under 26-inch depth (up to 28-inch ok but not preferred), up to 28-inch width, and up to 70-inch height. Any recommendations?
Old fridge (Whirpool ET0MSRXTQ) was a 10 cu ft Whirpool that had some room to spare around it. We've seen very few fridges in these sizes. There's a 25-inch wide Whirpool 11 cu. ft. Model #: WRT111SFDM, a Maytag (well a Whirpool with a Maytag label) 24-inch wide model #: URB551WNGZ, the gorgeous but expensive and fragile looking Bosch 500 and 800 11 cu ft options, and a couple others. The - ET0MSRXTQ Whirpool was a great $400 or so dollar dead reliable fridge that looks to be discontinued. Old tenants took with them and are ignoring our voicemails to them (it was our fridge and money will come out of their deposit).

There's a few to look at under the depth you specify.

Frigidaire has quite a few so I'm just posting everything Sears has at 26-27 inches deep:

GE has this one:

There's this Insignia (Best Buy house brand) which is *only $299* due to the current President's Day sale:

Thanks! That GE is GPE12FGKWWSKU is around $750.00 locally and a little roomier would be nice and 28.625 inches should be workable.

If you can manage just 1 1/2” nore depth you might like this GE 15 cu ft model very much. We bought one of these about 18 months ago and I really love it. I’m perverse in that I don’t want all the bells and whistles on my fridge and I prefer wire shelves to glass. I ordered an extra shelf for the fresh food compartment as one of the reviewers recommended and with the extra shelf it has just as much shelf space as our previous 18 cu ft. GE had.

The dimensions are 64 3/4” H x 29 1/2” D x 28” W.

Thanks, I'll look at the 18 cu ft too but it may be little too deep. Wire shelves are a plus for a rental and the less there is to break the better.

I look for simple things that do what they're supposed to do well and are easy to work on. On a fridge that's keeping food cold or frozen, reliably running for years, and avoiding ice and/or water dispensers removes some of the main sources of failure. I drink room temp tap water with no ice but keep trays around or get a bag of ice for guests and put a pitcher of water in the fridge.
