Please note, picture shown is from a brochure and not the actual dishwasher. Also, ad is 17 days old, so it may have already been sold or junked.

Ad reads: "A top loading, working dishwasher, but it leaks around the bottom basin. Timer, pump, motor, tub, racks and hoses all in good working condition. Save it if you can or want to. Has a ding or two, but runs like new. (Picture is from an online brochure.) I've had it for 35 years. Make absolutely any offer. Even 1 cent. Will be junked soon if no one wants it. Call Chris. 612 529 6257"

I think any one that has been here and knows Ken thought of him right away.

I'd venture to say he'd carry that on his back from Minn. back to Conn.

Has anyone messaged him ? I will just to be sure.

I did, Eddie.  He won't get that kind of advance warning the next time an SU70 surfaces, though.... LOL

Don (Jetaction) went to look at this machine last week and it's kind of rough. Well loved and well used. The owner has been keeping this machine going for many years and has patched some holes in the tub with silicone, etc.

I messaged him as well. Too bad it's not a "Only used on Holidays machine" as we all love to find. : )

Like the Vintage brand of choice that was purchased new and used by an old couple twice a month for the past 45 years.

He so loves this machine and has kept it going since he bought it. Lots of repairs, spit and glue in this machine but it was far too gone for me to want to "repair and care for it to keep it going" as he was wishing. I really would like to play with one of these machines sometime. Maybe one will come my way down the road.

Absolutely Paul.

When you mentioned Filing Cabinet I have actually acquired 2 machines that were used for that purpose.

The KDS-55 You have had paper clips, rubber bands, and other office supplies in it, and a KDS-17 I brought to Florida for stevet. That machine was used twice and the old woman (who didn't live in a shoe) said she could wash dishes better by hand and it used too much water and electricity.

You can see the Staples in the back of the chamber. That was before I vacuumed it. The paper clips and bands were removed.

Interested but with a big ol' BUT

Thanks to everyone for the heads up but this machine is worn in the same ways my WP-600 is. Bad tub, corrosion and other similar issues that I am trying to resolve by finding another dishwasher that I can scavenge parts from or add to to make a pristine machine. I'm going to contact the owner to ask some questions about particular things, because it may work out.

Thanks again to all you vigilantes.
