I need to replace the 240/60/3 element in a later model AM-14, (GE motor and Hobart built 70f rise booster). What parts do I need and what is the best way to do it?
Nick

Which element?

Wash tank or booster element? Neither one is that hard to do. Can you supply serial and ML-numbers, please?

Booster element, 13KW 240/60/3:

I've already changed the wash tank element 3 coil, 208-240/60/1 and that was easy. I'll get you the numbers on Thursday as I will be @ my friend's restaurant again. For some reason Hobart wired the Booster as dedicated 240/60/3 which is different from the dishwasher.

Sent you...

Part numbers and prices as well as a parts manual to your email.

They wired the booster separately unless the customer ordered the machine with single point connections. But it makes it easier to have 2 disconnects and you can run smaller wires to each circuit. You see it both ways!

Hope this helps
Steve
