Look at those Canadian Moffat machines from 1973!

Well, looks like Moffatt dishwashers were rebadged under quite a few manufacturers over the years!  I guess the Inglis/Whirlpool agreement was the reason why they never had them under that brand...

So, the tally is:  D&M, Westinghouse, Frigidaire, Norge-Fedders, and GE/Hotpoint.  Sadly, the very old ones so rarely turn up.

Darn, I cant bring back all the old Canadian French to understand that ad, since both my grandfathers are from NB and NS. But I remember their curse words, like moodzie.

Sorry Phil, I was doing the sound and trying to spell it but is what you said the correct spelling is the meaning. Never had a Canadian French dictionary, only Parisian French in school which was totally different.

Gee I wonder who made those washers and dryers? Moffatt used to be GE/Camco but I wonder when they switched?

Thanks for the share, Phil! I love Canadian stuff!
