I have never seen a Kenmore with a folding top lid. This to me is very unusual. This must have a double hinge in it. Jon | ||

Wasn't there something about the plastic lids having to be discontinued because they would not stop a fire so they went with a metal lid and a hook under the dryer above it or on the stand for stackable sets, to hold the lid up so that there was washer access? | ||
