Greetings folks,

I am in the process of restoring an Easy Spinner washing machine
I purchased at the Salvation Army Family Store here in Canton, Michigan.
Paid $30.00 for it. So far so good. I need casters! Any thoughts? Can somebody point me in the right direction. See pictures below, and as always many thinks.

Casters for the Easy Spinner

Thanks to Yogi, I was able to obtain the much needed
casters for the EASY. They fit great, look great, and were
easy to install.

Thanks Yogi,
Much appreciated...

That thing is gorgeous. What a paint job!!! Looks like a 64. What was it like when you got it? Was back at work on the history of these iconic machines this morning, trying to fill in another of the many gaps in the chronology, and found a rare red stripe from 1948 or so.

And Martin: You're a genius! Never even considered or was able to make the mental leap that Lowe's castors would fit a vintage conventional.

Long live Easyspins.

Saw original condition in Pic 5

Amazing condition. Look at the gleam on the agitator. Low mileage for sure. Wondering how fast the pump flow is with a drain hose as opposed to the narrower faucet models, if there is some restriction in gpm flow, gallons per minute, through the faucet and more volume through the hose.

Appreciate the stunning pix.

you don't realize how many things interchange....for the most part, if you could have found OEM ones, they would have cost up to 4 times the amount.....

I bought a belt for my GE washer......on ebay would have cost $20.00 plus shipping....or AutoZone, $4.75 for the same size belt....and guess what?...the auto belt was made by GE

many heater hoses work as drain hoses....and are reinforced...

original is nice, if you can find it....sometimes you find better solutions by improvising....

Well, "Be all that as it may," as Launderess would say, guess who's going to have nice new casters on the many machines who need an easier roll around the premises? Moi ! You know what's even freakier, Martin?

I bought a few hefty, sturdy looking brassy ones last summer to roll the couch about, on the deck, but there wasn't enough support to hold them, and it didn't even make it as a fly by thought: Hey, why not try these on some of the stuck locked casters that no amount of lubrication and fussing has been able to free.

THANKS, again, Yogimahn!

Mental leaps have given us airplanes and washing machines! Wonder what's next.

Jerry got the ones with threads, that blind luck, are the same threads as on his machines....so he rolls his machines in and out of place in his basement...switching out machines is a breeze......

the two front ones lock, keeping the machine in place....

amazing what little trinkets you find around the house, that you had all along, that fit the bill....

got the wheels rolling in your head, don't I?

if you have a Harbor Freight in your neck of the woods, they have a selection of wheels too....

Not sure if it was Easy

Or another brand of twin tub but there were little cups on offer one could place under casters. IIRC the idea was they would help keep the machine from going walkabout during spinning.
