My 1976 Crown 1-18 makes an occasional squeaking/moaning (mostly moaning) noise when in the spin. It only occurs on regular speed. Anyone with any ideas on what this is? Load size does not seem to be a factor.

Either it's tired of doing your laundry or it's saying "Moaning Glory!!!".

Honey please! That thing is like brand new inside and out. AND I never abuse it----so I am a little puzzled by that moaning noise. I suppose in "washing-machine years" it has every right to moan---hell, I moan!
