You know, I don't think "rare" is a selling point when you're marketing a 40 year-old laundry pair of sketchy manufacturer lineage (SQ? Raytheon? Actually Amana?) as daily drivers, from an available parts perspective.  Others will have to confirm who made these.  To its credit, the washer offers the slow/fast combination that makes Maytag 806 models desirable to so many.

I think the "Turbo 210" refers the the number of degrees the agitator rotates with each stroke.

Rare?

I would consider these models to be "rare", but in the sense that I don't recall seeing these models. Judging by the range of selections on the control panels, I would guess that these were higher-end models.

I'm guessing mid-1970s. Back then, everything magically became "Energy Saving"; not by manufacturing design, but only by the power of advertising.

I've never picked up a SQ washer that vintage that had good bearings. Most of them roared.
