Hi guys, I've uploaded a video of the knocking noise my A407 makes in spin mode. Does it full or empty, agitator in or out. Does it sound like the tub bearing is worn out and knocking? Also notice the stand pipe behind the dryer to the left. Its to the right of the exhaust tube. Notice how high it is? This may be my suds lock issue. Thanks for any help.
I should ad that it sounds like a hiss in the background that sounds like the lower bearing is bad but its just the sensitive mic in the phone. All you hear is knocking and a slight squeaking from the pads I guess. CLICK HERE TO GO TO robbinsandmyers's LINK |

You might check the ring that secures the inner tub. Sometimes when they work loose the inner tub will rattle around in spin mode. I've came across that issue a few times |

Thanks for the advice I tried it. Sadly it still does it. Looks like a tub bearing and seal on my future. I really would like to change the trans oil while that far down but its been suggested to remove it from the machine to do that. I dont have a clutch spanner. On a good note I swapped my new (used) timer after I oiled the works with synthetic clock oil. Its so smooth working now and doesnt shut off in the spin cycle. I'll have to clean the contacts in the old one and keep it for a spare.
