i never owed a dishwasher before. So if you could please give me some advice, what to look out for. I know for a fact i do not want anything NEW, i only like older style appliances. Something that is easy to repair myself. What about the control panel are they repairable do they make them mechanical? What are the more reliable makes and models and years.
Thanks for all the help

Robert, my best advise to you is to contact our member Laundromat.  He's there in Hawaii and has been involved with this hobby for nearly 50 years.  He knows what the situation in Hawaii is and can guide you as to where to look.  He will probably also keep an eye out for you.  I'm providing a link to his profile so you can contact him via his email in his account information.  Chuck is a knowledgeable, outstanding individual.
