The timer on our LDA-7800 was replaced some years-in due to the low-speed circuit going bad. The replacement had a one-stage cool down on Perm Press (partial drain, refill, agitate, presumably for water saving purposes) whereas the original was two-stage (partial drain, refill, agitate, partial drain, refill, agitate). Perhaps the "A" designation is related to that programming change. Knit had a one stage cool down on both the original and replacement timer. |
