After months of searching and figuring out what route to take I finally got a working pink Frigidaire wall oven and cooktop. With some slight modifications to countertop and cabinet they are installed and working. The wall oven even has the rotisserie option and attachment. Hopefully, they will serve me well as I do not want to ever change them!! I will never buy a house with a wall oven or cooktop again. Give me a range any day of the week!!!

Well congratulations Dave! You did a beautiful job. It looks just like a much sought after AEK (all electric kitchen) from the mid 50’s to early 60’s, the ones from my childhood. And those hammered copper cabinet handles were very popular too. We had them in our kitchen. A middle class/working class family that had a kitchen like this had “arrived”. It was modern!

I actuallyLike a wall oven better

No more bending over and stooping to get anything in or out of the oven, your kitchen looks beautiful.

Nice job, it really looks great.  Wish my 1956 kitchen could look like that.

It's beautiful and I agree with Hans about wall ovens.

That's an awesome job!  I know  you were struggling with this, but you'd never know it.  I'm glad you found something that works.  It looks really great!  Congrats & enjoy!

Looks killer.  I love wall ovens.  My Mom still

has her 1960 GE Wall oven.  She refuses to give

it up.  I will have one myself soon.

Best of luck.

I like your Revere Ware skillets handing on the wall, too!

It looks so nice!!  What you have is exactly what I wanted but for some reason around here they are few and far between.

It's funny how we are all different.  I wouldn't go back to a range if you paid me.  I love the wall oven.  As others have stated its great having them at eye level.  I wouldn't be surprised if after a while you don't say the same thing.  I didn't think I loved this setup until I had it.

Looks fantastic!

And like it’s the original equipment that’s always been there.

You couldn’t possibly have done a better job attaining your goal of keeping it original.
