Just saw these on e-bay... look like belt drives to me.... anyone have info on this model...very classy!

That is indeed a beautiful set and is a belt drive washer, but is NOT a full porcelain set at the seller claims. The lid, top, and tub of the washer are porcelain, but the cabinet body is not. I doubt very much that the top of the dryer is anything but painted enamel. Thats quite a high selling price for a set this old, Kenmore made their last belt drives in about 1985. I found an exact match for this set for my cousin about 10yrs ago. Those electronic controls are wonderful, but boy if you ever have a power surge or a short you are out of luck. Very expensive to repair as the whole control board would need to be replaced and I would imagine by this late date its a NLA part. The seller needs to move that decimal point over a notch!

Yes indeed, the washer of this set is a belt-drive model. This will be the TOL Kenmore set of 1985-86 (the Limited Edition models).

From the pictures that I saw, I am amazed that they are in immaculate shape.

Those are my dream Kenmores, but they are a little pricey.
