My friend bought me this Whirlpool Dryer for $5.00 at Goodwill. He had text me a picture of it and I jumped on it. I'll get it home today and check it out.

Lighted Panel Yes, as HelicalDrive says, I would expect that the timer dial may be backlight by an incandescent bulb. That was the case with my grandparents' late 1960s Supreme 80 washer and slightly newer Supreme 80 dryer. Fluroscent under-console lighting was on the Mark XII and some Imperial models. Many of the lower models had the lens at bottom of the console even if there was no light. | ||

"dark edged beige" Helicaldrive, the washer would have been Whirlpool's Edged Fawn color. It was available (along with Edged Sapphire) circa '67-'68. | ||

Oh Thanks! That sounds right. When I emptied out the folks’ house I found the receipt for it. If I remember correctly it was $280ish. | ||
