Hi - hoping someone knowledgeable can help me. I have the Kitchenaid KD 12P dishwasher. It's leaking when the dishwasher fills. We have determined that the gasket needs to be replaced. From the parts manual, there are 2 gasket parts. I am not sure if we need part P-67410-2 or P-67410-14, or maybe I need both. Or perhaps I need to replace the whole fill valve. If anyone can provide info or guidance I would be very appreciative. Thank you so much!

Hi Marion, are you talking about the two cork gaskets (number 31) in the image below? You most likely wont find these parts new and if you do find new old stock they may be dried out and useless after sitting on the shelf all these years. I would simply go to your auto parts store and buy cork gasket on a roll. Use part number 35 as a template and cut out new gaskets with an exacto-knife. For screw holes use a small needle to punch a hole in the cork for each screw hole. I do this quite often in my machines and it normally works very well. I would get relatively thick gasket material if your store has a choice.

Hi - I am not sure exactly what I need. I can take a photo of the parts manual showing the part and include it here if that would help.

Replace the entire fill valve if it has problems, you can adapt a much newer fill valve to this machine.
