Hey guys on Automaticwasher!
It's been a VERY long time since I've posted here, but I truly have missed this site so, I thought I'd update everyone on my small but classic collection I've made of washing machines. April was a huge surprise for me, my 21st birthday came early when I saw this rather rare model on Gumtree! Many UK members may remember the 1997 "Casatta" colour range by Hotpoint on the 1997 WM63, WD61, DF62, TL62 and the fridge freezer too, consisting of 3 colours - Ice Blue, Pistachio Green and Soft Lilac, many surfaced on eBay and Gumtree but none had been preserved. That is until now! I managed to secure a WM63H in Pistachio Green from Chislehurst in London, she came with an FHP motor, but I have since retro-fitted her with a GEC motor from a WM62 and she sounds absolutely wonderful! Here are some pictures for you to enjoy, I have 2 videos on my YouTube channel - FlorenceBallardA3060 if you would like to hear this. Also, the machine now spins at 1200rpm having removed the resistor on the circuit board too. Regards, Brandon. |

Very nice. Does she get along with your Miele? I have a relative, a Creda Eco Wash Supa Speed 1000. She is still chugging along after many years. |
