I've never seen a Frigidaire pair like that before. Was this the absolute bargain-basement BOL model for 1960?

No, the model number contains a "D" for Deluxe. The BOL models were Super with an "S" in the model number.

Oh, they are still around. In recent years I've found new homes for two of them.
