Good thread Pierre! Id say I would have to have a D&M Kenmore. There was one that showed up on Kijiji a few years ago, rapid advance push button. Very nice.

You know, I think I have just about all the portables that I ever wanted! Yes, I wanted the Roto-Rack... LOL
I guess all I "need" would be a Frigidaire Dishmobile, but it'd have to be a Custom Imperial Spin-Tube model. |

I'd say a mid-60s Mobile Maid. We had one when I was a kid and I actually was rather fond of it. We had chores back then and mine was loading the dishwasher. Alas, when the kitchen was remodeled in 1970 we built a "garage" for it under a kitchen counter, so when the house was sold, the dishwasher stayed. Hurumph!

I'd love one of these in a portable with a wood top.

If I could get another Lady Kenmore push button from 1972 again, (The Freedom Maker), it would never be thrown away like my old one when the bottom door screws holding the panel on ruined the porcelain bottom. 22 minutes, open the door, spin the roto rack and once they cooled enough to handle and put away. Never got a dirty dish from that Lady, miss her.
