Hmmm there should be one but its under the wash basket. Its self cleaning as well so you never have to touch it. I know the SQ washer that I have has one. But hear is the reality of said lint filter, its not that effective at doing its primary job and thats filtering the water. The agitator base and bottom vanes create a vacuum to pull the water under the skirt of the agitator...there are two holes right above the filter. you could remove the agitator to see if you do have the two holes....

This is how I remove the agitator in the my AWN311...I fill the washer with hot water just to the medium level, shut the washer off to stop the filling and rock the agitator and tub to get the hot water under the agitator and let it sit for a few mins to soften the plastic. Drain the washer and stop as soon as the water is gone. Then reach in and slowly pull the agitator while rocking the base of the agitator and it should pull up and off the drive bell. When I say pull up I mean by the base skirt one hand on each side, be careful not to hit yourself in the face with the top of the agitator.

I finally got around to removing the agitator in my SQ and there are two small holes in bottom of tub underneath the agitator but i dont belive the agitator creats enough suction to make water to flow under it like whirlpool n kenmores do. They had small fins on bottom side of agitator to create water flow under it.
