Well, this is one advert which doesn't come around often, or is this a first for it, or first for me seeing? So, who is this "Fritz" character (much like other mascots & icons for other appliances, and the lime) and how convincing was he in pushing Speed Queen under brutal usage as most-dependable?

I do recall seeing/hearing The Fritz back in the day. Impressed me (as a kid),but who knows.

I always remember Chuck Connors as the official spokesman for Speed Queen...I, too, had not seen “The Fritz” before!
