Did SQ make any major changes to 2018 vs 2017 and prior FL washers? Know TL had additional restrictions for 2018 but believe FL stuck to the 2015 standards? And are any changes coming up?

I want to add a SQ FL to my laundry room someday and want to stay ahead of changes that might affect performance. I have a TL SQ and SQ dryer but want to add an FL to the mix.

Thanks!

You better hurry and look for one because they stopped production of the residential front loaders in the spring. I just checked and they have already been pulled from the website.

The stack

is still in production, so just get one of those. Still available with gas or electric dryer. The FL washer in the stack is identical to the single unit washer.

If you should happen to only have space for 2 units, then buy the stack and remove your current dryer.

Problem solved!

I meant

The FL in the stack is identical to the former single unit FL washers no longer in production for residential use.
