It came and went so fast! Too much to do and not enough time to do it
Thanks to our attendees for bringing all the good times! The house is almost back to normal, and the next one in June 2019 will be here before we know it!

You guys are looking good with the "sheer look" pose - but apparently NONE of you remembered to pack your sheath gown for the photo shoot.

Looks like everyone had a good time!  And looks like you had some really pretty weather, too.

I suggest Mr. Rays

wig world. Just kidding.
There are vintage clothing consignment shops, etc.
Such handsome Frigidaire's. A member up in the Boston area I think has a set painted metallic grey. They were featured on 60 minutes, as "Blackstone's"
I don't know why not former GM products. I don't see any copyright infringements.
ABB Electrolux-Frigida-re never made anything that good I'm sure.
I bet the dryer drum could have been enlarged. So much narrower than the cabinet.
When I was looking for my first house, back in 1988, I toured a Warren Michigan home owned by a retired GM employee. It had all genuine GM Frigidaire appliances.
All white though. 40 inch flair double oven range, fridge, dishwasher, Jet Cone washer with a lid window, dryer, deep freezer. I wanted that house like nobody's business, but my ex didn't like it. It also had a built in pool, and extensive planting beds and gardens. He did not like to stay home on weekends and do yard work, etc.

Thanks to Jerry for hosting and the hospitality. And to the other fellows for showing compassion and care about my dealings with dad passing and the foreclosure on his house.

Oh no, sorry Ben.

I think it is happening to more and more seniors. Either medical bills get paid before taxes, or they reverse mortgage because they need cash. Or, they are unable to work because of illness and fall behind.
When my mom went into a nursing home, my dads elder law attorney recommended a "Ladybird" Johnson deed. It costs about $300 to do, but it takes the spouse in the nursing home off the deed, so if any medicaid is needed, the state can not take the house.
My dad had the best supplimental medicare coverage he could buy, and it still didn't pay for everything.
Long term care insurance is very expensive.
My dad passed in December. My sister is in the house and is buying it from the other four of us. Actually, the others want their money. I don't care if she were to live there rent free. She was my dads main care giver.
