The Syracuse Washing Machine Company sold/was bought by Murray. Murray sold to Hupp. Hupp sold to WCI. WCI killed it. The Syracuse automatic was primarily a Beam design. Murray came up with Velva-Power toploaders and the combo. Hupp stop manufacturing and used rebranded Hotpoint washers. WCI went Franklin. |
