I have never owned a blender. We had a couple of different ones growing up, I remember both of them had the wide selection of push-button speeds with all the descriptive settings.
I remember thinking "how does it do all those different things" and then I soon realized it didn't, just creative names for different speeds! Anytime I asked to use it (it was fun) I was usually told no because it was too much work to take apart and clean, LOL.
I just looked at new ones and they still have all the speeds, updated with new verbiage.

A Google search turned this up on Ireland eBay. Doesn't say Starflyte or Hamilton Beach but sounds like what you're describing. Pretty unique one, I've never seen one like it.

Hope that blender had nothing to do with the outlet on the wall behind it! |

Right now its a mid 50s turquoise Waring, I made coleslaw in it last week, I cant keep house without one, like all my appliances, I switch them out once in a while, I probably have 200 or more. |

It seems like I remember seeing a Sears CounterCraft version of the SCM Proctor-Silex blender that's shown above. My old catalogs are packed up at storage, so I can't check now. SCM owned Proctor-Silex from 1966 until 1983. This post was last edited 07/16/2018 at 13:06 |
