Has anyone else noticed that Frigidaire has removed ALL of their listing on the web site for ANY new double oven ranges. What is the deal?
Even if you search under the big box stores, there is no listing for double oven Frigidaire ranges.
Am I missing something as GE, Whirlpool and others are still listing double oven ranges.

Frigidaire's web site has removed all laundry except on unitized stacked laundry and one top loader, no front loaders.  Maybe Frigidaire is going to be the value priced line and Electrolux the featured line.

You are correct. I had not noticed the removal of front load washers.
All very strange, if you look at the electric ranges, they still have many models, some very expensive but not one double oven.
They are making ONE 40" range again. I bought one about 3 years ago but I DID notice this new model only has ONE oven, they removed the storage drawer and moved the controls to the front edge like a gas range.
They also raised the price by over $1000.00. YIKES!
I thought maybe they were getting ready to offer some new models and update their web site.

They must have got the idea for that 40" full-width oven from the old Westinghouse model that was made back in the mid 50's.

Here are some shots of my Frigidaire range bought in january 2015.
Now why would anyone want just ONE 40" wide oven? Imagine the preheat time
and when would ever want that much space all at the same temp for day to day use? I would also not want to give up my huge storage drawer.

Here is a shot of the Master and Companion oven. They have plenty of light and racks space. They both have top broiler and bottom heating elements.
The Companion oven heats very, very fast. I use it every day.
The Master oven is self-Cleaning and also has Convection or regular cooking.
One thing I do like is that the Broiling temp is adjustable from 400-550
You can bake 2 things at different temps at the same time.
You can see how much storage there is in the bottom drawer.
The top controls have warning lights for the top elements and also has warning lights on
the surface too that remain let as long as a burner is still warm.
The surface has both a bridged element on the left side and a small/large adjustable element on the right front. The Center burner on the back is a "warming" element and that too has an adjustable temp.
Interesting design feature is the the temp and oven controls are located on a second tier high on the backsplasher and tilted very slightly forward, so they don't catch the grease when cooking and easier to see the red signal light "on" from across the room.

When they delivered the range, they had to send 3 men as it was so heavy.
The ONLY fault I have found is that no ranges have the backsplasher lamp but that is taken care of with the Frigidaire Microwave oven which has 8 multiple LED down lights for the surface of the range.
I am glad they are still making at least ONE example of a 40" range but they removed all the great features of their last model and added a HUGE price increase. According to one reviewer/owner,it sounds like they also are using the end panels to hold the range instead of adding end panels to a separate frame.
