Hello,

I just recently purchased an Imperial KDI-57A portable dishwasher at an amazing price. However, the sink hose adapter that screws onto the faucet was missing. I have tried reading online and reviewing the manual but nothing tells me what I need to hook this dishwasher up to my sink. Anyone have any idea of the part I should be looking for?? Much appreciated!!

Home Depot (and most any other hardware store) carries the coupler that screws onto your kitchen faucet spout (see link provided below).  If you can't locate it in the plumbing section, just ask a clerkNEOPERL Brass Large Snap Fitting Adapter.

I felt so silly for asking. I’m slowly realizing that this do it yourself stuff is a lot harder than I expected it to be. My dad was always my go to. I’m truly grateful, RP2813!

atleast that is the standard adaptor....

when I got my 1963 GE Mobile Maid, I had to jump through hoops to get the right adapter. It takes a really odd skinny one.

What a beauty!

That machine is absolutely gorgeous! Is it the avocado color? I have a KDS-18 with a trim kit and I’m praying the avocado panels are underneath. I’m doing an avocado appliance kitchen!

Congrats on scoring this!

Green wth envy!

Alas, the trim kits came with 2 panels with 2 different colors on each side of them. One was black on one side and white on the other side and the other was harvest gold and the other was usually almond. There is a remote possibility that an avocado panel was included but you will have to check them. Otherwise, if there are in fact, any behind the wood panel, you can have one of them painted at a body shop. I have seen people install formica/laminate panels to match the color they need. Some even match their countertop
