We decided to use one of the bedrooms as a library and record room I hooked up my 62 Phonola stereo and listened to albums all day. About 70 percent of these books are cook books

Re Stereo

That is a 1962 Phonola Multi Channel Stereophonic High Fidelity Consolette with Reverberation..LOL It belonged to my Parents best friends, Joe and Francis Culbreth, I got it about 25 years ago from them, It came from a company called Allied Radio company, they sent out a catalogue back then and Joe ordered it, the very first record ever played on it was played by their daughter, Telstar!..LOl I remember being a small child and listening to it at parties at their house, I have a picture of my mother holding me at 3 months old at their Christmas party in 1965, in front of that stereo, So I have some sentimental attachment to it.

I love how you have created your own library and a place to bask in hi-fi!   Can't wait to see more!

TELSTAR

Hans:

I remember Telstar very well. I can't wait to see your new place. Give me a call and let's talk. Been way too long.

I can't think of a more appropriate inaugural record for that console than "Telstar!"

Fantastic!   I see a copy of White Trash Cooking front and center.  That’s my kind of room.

Does anyone else hear June Cleaver calling "Ward, boys! Time for dinner!"?
